BOSTON HERALD SEPT. 2019

Two Boston heart patients bond over shared struggle [Boston Herald]

In the prelude to the Boston Heart Walk, we had an interview with the Boston Herald. Fellow LVAD recipient, Julius Johnson and I talked about how facing heart disease brought us together to become friends.

It was a pleasure working with Shelley Lange (Abbott), Alicia Bardaro (Weber Shandwick), Alexi Cohan (Boston Herald), Jim Mahoney (Boston Herald), and others during the process.

Nice job with the interview, the piece is excellent! Read it here. It touched me a lot! I kept re-reading it and tearing up. Thanks for showing me what this journey is like from a different angle. With great appreciation.
