Bouba sits down with John to talk about life with the LVAD and heart transplant.
John Sanson is a Houston-based patient who was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy in 2016 and has since undergone LVAD and transplant procedures. He is an inspiration to many, having shed over 100 pounds, and is currently working in the coffee industry and producing a documentary series.
BOSTON, JANUARY 2022 – The Heart of a Giant Foundation today announced it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from CVS Health, which will help reduce overall health care costs, and improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable residents in the Dorchester, Mattapan and Brockton communities. Through this grant, HGF will be able to provide health education and nursing support to participants in the 2HC program.
At the Heart of a Giant Foundation, our goal is to help people live longer, happier, healthier lives. We work to enable and support lifestyle changes that improve health outcomes for people at risk of developing heart problems.
