HGF 2024 October Letter

Hello Friends,

We hope this newsletter finds you well! It’s been an exciting summer and the start of fall, and we have so much to share. October is an exceptional month for me and my family. My birthday is on the 13th, and my heart transplant anniversary is on the 8th. This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate our inaugural “Heart of a Giant Day” on Saturday, October 12th, marking a significant milestone for the foundation.

Event Highlights

 

Boston’s Inaugural Community Heart Health Celebration

Our “Heart of a Giant Day” event on October 12th will feature the Inaugural Boston Community Heart Walk. This family-style walk for heart health will include music, games, healthcare professionals, wellness experts, kids’ activities, water, snacks, and more. This event promises to be a fun and engaging day for all.

We have some fantastic raffle prizes and gifts, and there will be plenty of activities for the kids. Raffle prizes include a foursome at Hillside Golf Course or gift certificates for online and in-person wellness services. Security and emergency services will also be on-site to ensure everyone’s safety – Event Page.

We’ll share more event details, including logistics and parking, in the upcoming days.
