Since then, we’ve been working hard to put together a community health program to support our mission of improving health outcomes and preventing chronic heart diseases. In addition, we have just launched the website to serve as our window to the World.

We’re busy putting the last touches on the program. The program will help individuals and families in our communities in Boston to better manage and prevent hypertension. We will deliver comprehensive healthcare support, health education, and coaching through a culturally responsive, community-based, and technology-driven approach.
We are currently working to raise awareness about high blood pressure, recruit future participants, and build our community partner network. So be on the lookout for more information and the campaign to help us get started.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support in this journey – from the days in ICU in 2016 to the launch of the Heart of a Giant Foundation in 2020 as a nonprofit organization with a mission to foster healthy outcomes for patients managing chronic heart disease. I am thankful to Desi and the growing Heart of a Giant team and all our advisors and supporters for their feedback and continued advice throughout our journey.
