ow time flies! It’s been almost a month since our week-long trip to California in June. Our story actually made the news in California. Check it out.

It was really special to meet everyone again – Dr. Zi Jian, Dr. Krishnan, Joel, Gretchen, Tina, Paul, Gary, Liz, and the team as a whole. Going back to Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento after 3 years (and this time with our first son) felt both overwhelming and exhilarating.

If I had to sum the entire experience all up in one word, it would be – Gratitude. I am grateful for the great work that my team has done, for how they set me up for success and for them continuing to support me and my family to this day. I left Sutter Sacc with a more expanded vision, a bigger thirst for life and more drive to continue to pursue my goals.

We are very thankful for the warm welcome of our friends at Sutter. I enjoyed touring the hospital and visiting everyone. Thank you for your time and for hosting us. Also, great thanks to news and media outlets who joined us on the day and share our story in Northern California and beyond. We truly appreciate everyone and I hope our story will someway contribute to advancing the cause of heart health.
