As we said goodbye to 2019, it was a time to reflect on our blessings and our losses, and the beginning of the New Year a time of new aspirations and renewed enthusiasm.
I wanted to start off by expressing my gratitude for supporting and following us on our journey. It's been quite a year with many changes and striving to keep up with the twins and their big brother.
Vision 20/20
It seems like 2020 is going to be an even more fun year. My vision for this new year is 20/20, with hope, courage, encouragement. Thank you all for being an inspiration and motivation! Your words and images of love, hope, and encouragement for our family truly make a difference.
The past few years have been the best of times, and the worst of times. But year after year, we feel happier and wiser, with more joy and more hope. To our friends and families, to all involved in making our journey possible, for allowing us to have so much in the process, and for all of that and more, we are grateful and oh so thankful!
Family Updates
The boys have been doing great, keeping us on our toes, as always. Work has been going well for Des and myself. And more importantly, we have been able to gradually reconnect more with families and friends and enjoy some communities. We hope that this would continue.
So, somehow and #againstallodds, we continue to work through the challenges that come our way.
Milestone Alert
Saturday (11 January), we will celebrate my third anniversary since the LVAD implant. Looking down memory lane, our appreciation and gratitude for everyone and everything cannot be measured.
I have not written much over the past 6 months, hence the silence on the blog. I'd blame the boys or my new full-time role... but no excuses for the new year. I promise to make up for the silence, share more about my story (which is still unfolding) and bring you up to date with some in-depth details.
As we prepare for another awesome year, the boys and Des and I would like to say thank you and to wish you a great 2020! Happy new year!
